At The Filter Tap Company, we’re proud to be a local business serving the Cotswolds while creating opportunities for young people in our community. Our mission is simple: to make healthier, better-tasting drinking water accessible, affordable, and hassle-free.
We supply and install top-of-the-range filtered tap systems - all included in one price - and provide a maintenance service for both our own taps and other brands. To keep things easy, we diarise filter changes and automatically remind you when service is due. Our trained technicians visit your home every six or twelve months to handle replacements depending on which filter you’ve purchased, giving you complete peace of mind.

Meet the team
Charlotte Russell
Charlotte Russell is General Manager of The Filter Tap Company, combining her leadership skills with a passion for health, sustainability, and innovation. As an international tennis player, she knows how important hydration is for both performance and everyday wellbeing.
During her time at Tulane University in New Orleans, she experienced many challenges with local water quality, which sparked her interest in filtration and the benefits of cleaner, better-tasting water for long-term health.
Today, Charlotte leads the company’s mission to bring healthier drinking water to homes across the Cotswolds and help build a better future for generations to come. Charlotte was born in Cheltenham, where she still lives today.

Mark Taylor
Mark is one of the founders of The Filter Tap Company. He spent over 8 years in the drinking water filtration industry and understands intimately the importance of filtering your drinking water at home and encouraging your family and friends to do the same.
He is passionate about encouraging people to hydrate healthily and make a contribution to their local communities and the world through reducing their use of plastics as well as providing career opportunities for young people.
Mark lives in Cheltenham with his family and is a passionate dog walker throughout the Cotswolds
Dan Heaton
Dan Heaton has been in the Cotswolds construction and home renovation business for over 2 decades through his association and leadership of well-known Cheltenham-based ampm construction. Dan has seen the growth of many clients over the past few years in wanting to improve the water quality in their homes, through the growth of instant hot water taps and dedicated drinking water taps.
Dan saw the need was there, however the problem was always the same, who installs the tap? and who maintains the taps? as many of these products are sold as being “easy” to install and maintain, the reality being they are not and expertise is needed. Hence the birth of “The Filter Tap Company”. A full service home drinking water business.
Dan lives in Cheltenham and has a young family and is passionate about them all drinking healthy, great tasting water.
